Shortlisted: Royal Academy Summer Exhibition
I am pleased to say that my painting 'Yearning' (pictured) has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is the largest, most popular open exhibition in the United Kingdom, with around 15,000 entries this year. I have loved the Royal Academy of Arts since I was a young child, and it is my first time entering the competition, so this was very encouraging news to have and a great confidence boost!
I have to deliver the painting to the Royal Academy in May, and the final results will be announced shortly after.
