Clyde & Co Art Award Evening - Staff Vote Winner
The next phase of the Clyde & Co Art Award (see my previous post for more information), was the presentation of three prizes. These were presented at the recent Award Evening on 6th December: The Clyde & Co Art Award of £5000, the Blank Canvas Commission, and the Staff Vote Prize of £2000.
I was so happy to be chosen as the winner of the Staff Vote!
As a recent graduate, I felt daunted and uncertain as to what my next steps should be as an artist.
My participation in the Clyde & Co Art Award, has been such a great confidence boost, along with the learning that is resulting from the Professional Development Programme and, of course, winning this additional award. Congratulations to the other winners, Lucas Dupuy for the Clyde & Co Art Award, and Zsuzsa Benke, for the Blank Canvas Commission. And also to all the other artists involved with the award!
